About Mossborough Hall The original house at Mossborough was erected in 1300 and was in fact named Rainsford Hall, but unfortunately the partially wooden structured house was destroyed by fire in 1700 and then renovated in 1703 by Robert Molyneux. How we recycle At James Heyes & Sons, we offer an extremely fast turn-around for the delivery of any green waste materials at our Mossborough Hall site.
We can have you on-site and off again in a matter of minutes thanks to our spacious delivery and sorting area, which is fully covered with tarmac. End Result Once the green waste has been recycled, it is then put to extremely good use on our farm land. This is why letting James Heyes & Sons recycle your green waste makes perfect sense, as the resulting compost soil is used onsite.

Absolutely amazing as usual. For my husbands birthday he wanted to stay over at mosborough hall. We had the double executive room with prosecco added in. The room was clean lovely with bottled water and some drinks a coffee machine and kettle for tea etc. Bathroom had amenities soap shampoo toothbrush etc. We paid for 3 course meal and breakfast. The meals were so delicious and we never went hungry. Mosborough hall is a favourite of ours and will definitely be returning

After the last 2 years we decided to stay 4 nights over Christmas. With all the recent uncertainty we were not certain if it would go ahead. So glad that it did. All staff made us welcome and it allowed us to relax and dare I say it forget Covid for a few days. (Despite our face masks and sanitisers).
A special mention for Angela, Leah and Emily who went out of their way to ensure things run smoothly.
And to Alex the chef who prepared the wonderful food. Thanks to everyone, we wish you all a happy New Year. Already looking forward to next Christmas.

We booked a cheap b&b, dinner, wine deal for a minibreak. The room was a bit tired, the remote was missing BUT dinner was really classy and everyone I dealt with in this hotel - reception, housekeeping, barpeople, waiters (and especially Alex the chef/restaurant manager) - was friendly and competent and seemed to really care and enjoy their work. I've stayed in posher places but I really enjoyed this hotel!

Attended a Wedding and stayed overnight. The food served at the Wedding was by far the best food I have tasted at a large event. The atmosphere at the hotel was calm and relaxed and not stuffy at all. This is an old building so its not going to be immaculate or look perfect. Thats the nature and charm of old historical buildings. The bed was huge and very comfortable with good quality pillows and bedding. The breakfast was made to your order and not buffet style which was very good.

The tasting menu here is fantastic and what they're doing with moving towards growing their own veg to use in the menu is a great idea. We've been here a couple of times now since they started the menu earlier in the year and both visits have been really enjoyable. We'll absolutely be back here again.
