The Saltrock story started in 1988 with two surfing brothers, Angus and Ross Thomson, using a homemade printing screen, selling their designs from the back of their Austin Allegro. Together they focused on individual graphics, screen printing and tie-dying techniques. Over 30 years later, technology has changed but the Saltrock team are still passionate about unique design, functionality and quality.

Fantastic service from 3 staff members including the manager. I had to return a coat bought for Christmas as it had a tiny snag in the stitching, they went above and beyond to locate a replacement for me and had the new one in store before new year eve and kept me updated by phone all throughout. 1st class customer service and I will certainly return to buy more.

I came in this morning 8/7/21 wanting to purchase a hoodie i had seen in the window, the assistant immediately came right next to me pretending to fold T-shirts that did'nt need folding, she made me feel uneasy like she thought i was going to rob the shop so i walked out without buying anything also not good in covid times to be so close to customers!

I agree with Anna there isn't masses of choice in Salt Rock, they really could do with some more stock (hint hint). The items that they do have available are in my opinion rather nice think quicksilver or Fat Face but with brighter colours. I really liked some of the womens clothing, which was both feminine and California surfer girl in style.

The other man in my life, aka my brother dragged me in here with him because we all know men can't make decisions on their own.Saltrock is a British surf/ski/skate kind of shop and my bro has been wearing their stuff for a good while now.
From the outside it all looks really good but inside there isn't masses of choice, the staff are more concerned with their hair than helping and all in all its a far cry from the little independent stores in the arcades.
I sum it up as all looks and no substance.
