We put careful thought into our buildings to arrive at the simplest and most elegant solution. We make sustainability a fundamental part of our approach at all stages of the design and construction process, and consider the whole-life-cycle costs of materials and design decisions.

Bay windows were replaced, and a three-storey side extension provides larger living rooms, a larger main bedroom and a new ensuite and dressing room. Lengthy negotiations with the planning authorities ensured that the application went smoothly despite some local opposition. The officer described the scheme as "well-integrated and of a high quality of design that will contribute positively to the character of the area".
The existing garage was unsound and the conservatory little used. Both were replaced with a single-storey extension which echoes the original garage at the front but is contemporary to the rear. The extension provides a new utility room/boot room at the front of the house with a new 'back' door, and a garden room to the rear with a new shower room.
We designed a replacement house on a site in the Oxford greenbelt. Careful consultation with the planners ensured that the modern design was granted planning consent with no objections. The original house was badly positioned on the plot, so the new house could be sited to allow the existing to be lived in whilst its replacement was built.
