As Chartered Engineers with over 40 years of engineering expertise and experience between us we are able to offer a comprehensive reporting service. We can advise on the condition of the systems installed, their life expectancy, efficiency, running and replacements costs. For developers looking to regenerate buildings we can give advice on the most cost effective and energy efficient solutions.
One of the first stages of any project is establishing the size and location of the main utility incoming Services. We can carry out site surveys and load assessments to determine the level of service required. We have experience of working with the Utility companies to deliver the Services to the site.
Employed to provide; an M&E Enhanced Performance Specification, design checking, site inspections and handover duties. The construction of a two storey office building of a basement and first floor level, taking advantage of the sloping site. The design was to be efficient, optimise use of land, could be readily extendable and cost effective.
The main operating philosophy of the 172 apartment residential building is to utilise low and zero carbon technologies to generate heating and hot water. A deep bore hole extracts water which is passed through refrigerant heat machines which provide heating or cooling. Excess heat generated in the summer within the apartments is extracted using the heat machines and used to heat the water.
Preserving the environment is a prime objective during the thought processes within Ambience Engineering. The debate on global warming will run on, as our supplies of energy run out. The developed world needs to find alternative sources of clean energy to provide a sustainable future for our children.
