We started in business in 1982 with a bike, a van and a small office in Kettering Road, Northampton. Now, several years on, with a wealth of knowledge, gained mainly through experience, we operate from a 3 acre site with a large high racked warehouse, comfortable offices and enough parking for our expanding fleet of vehicles.
APC's Overnight parcel delivery service has been built on reputation and quality! The APC Overnight network was founded by a group of experienced delivery companies committed to providing excellent service in the UK overnight market. The network's subsequent expansion has been carefully managed to ensure that the founding principles remain at the company's core.
Action Express are proud members of the network and have been since it was formed. We do our utmost to provide a quality of service superior to our competitors at a realistic price. This is only achievable due to a dedicated team of Office staff, Drivers and of course, reliable vehicles and up to date technology!
We have a fully maintained fleet of vehicles ranging from small vans to articulated lorries and our own group of dedicated drivers, plus a pool of reliable professionals who work directly for us on a 'call out' basis. All of our vehicles are tracked in 'real time' so we know where your goods are whether in the UK, Ireland or mainland Europe.
Worldwide import and export services, together with the appropriate documentation, can be organised by road, sea or air. A dedicated special air courier service is also available, for complete peace of mind. So, whether it is important papers to Paris, or a parcel to Peru, rest assured your package is delivered person-to-person, hand-to hand.

Be aware Action Express said the job is yours sending job confirmation but they didn't. I call them but no answer when finally got to someone apparently they give the job to someone else as he was cheaper.When I said it's not on and unprofessional the guy just said he is busy...
First in over 900 jobs something like this happed to me! Could quote other jobs and lost a lot of other opportunities.Terrible way to treat the driver. Didn't even bother to let me know. You saved few £ but as a professional dedicated driver I won't be interested to work with you in the future.

Your delivery driver is superb - thank you
Can you please pass my gratitude to the driver (and his manager) that delivered to me in Irchester this afternoon.
He rang on the bell and also called but, as a homeworker, I was unfortunately on a call. I called the number back and this amazing driver came back and delivered - his response was that he was only having a quick bite to eat and it was no problem!

Eugh, my shoulders always sink when I find I've ordered from a company who use APC to handle their parcels, and APC never fail to live down to my low expectations. I've watched drivers on the live tracker near the end of the day driving around the countryside wasting time or sitting parked 100 yards away from the depot for half an hour before going in, presumably having not had the parcel loaded onto the van in the morning and not wanting to be sent back out again if they get back before closing time. They absolutely refuse to use my secure parcel delivery box - the ONLY delivery company who won

I ordered a packaged and I was a little worried as it was food which could spoil. I called on the day of delivery and spoke to an actual person who gave me a window for my delivery. My item came within this time in perfect condition and I was very pleased with the service. I would definitely use again and would recommend.

ABYSMAL. I phoned on 22/12 to query non-delivery of a parcel and a female told me it would DEFINITELY be next day delivery. She lied!!
On 24/12 I rang again and a male told me it had "been returned to sender".
When I asked why he refused to tell me. I have been trying to come up with adjectives to describe this shower (unhelpful, untruthful, uncaring, inept) but abysmal is the one which is most apt. Action Express is a MISNOMER...NO Action and definitely NOT Express. Avoid them!!!!!
