Furr & Co is a family-owned fine jewellery business in the attractive market town of Hungerford. Greg and Rachel Furr - a goldsmith and a gemmologist - are the directors of Furr & Co. Greg studied at London's Sir John Cass College and opened his first jewellery shop in Wokingham in the 1970's. He came to Hungerford in 1995.
His wife Rachel has a specialist knowledge of antique jewellery and worked for many years with Bonham's auction house in London. It differs somewhat from the average High Street jewellery shop - the elegant Georgian interior is fitted with neo-classical style display cabinets in dark blue and gold leaf which provide a sympathetic backdrop for the uncluttered displays of jewellery at Furr & Co.

Whether it is an engagement ring or a jewel to celebrate a special anniversary or occasion, our design team will work with you to advise and guide you through the process of creation from the original concept discussions and sketches to fully developed designs, stone choices and quotations. Our goldsmiths will then turn the idea into reality in our workshops here at Furr & Co.

Didn't have the best experience here. Took a ring to be re-sized and shortly after the diamond became loose. We went back and were told fairly rudely that the re-sizing had nothing to do with it and that the setting was to blame. This seemed unlikely given it hadn't been loose beforehand but had come loose almost immediately after the re-sizing.
We were told we'd need to pay to change the setting, or alternatively they could tighten the prongs for free. We opted for the latter and were told we'd be called when it was finished.
A week later I called to enquire on progress and found it was finished
