We providing MOT testing for any area in Essex, including Coggeshall, Kelvedon, Tiptree, Earls Colne and Halstead. A partial retest is usually free of charge as long as the vehicle is repaired at the MOT centre or is taken back to the same MOT centre for retest by the end of the next working day. A partial retest fee may be applicable if you take the vehicle away from the test centre for repair, and costs 22.50.

Worn or damaged brake components can result in increased stopping distances, excessive wear to other components, brake 'fade', and MOT test failure. We provide a full range of brake servicing, including replacement of brake discs and brake pads, overhaul and servicing.
Brake fluid replacement is required as part of good routine vehicle maintenance. Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it has a tendency to absorb moisture. Over time, the absorbed water lowers the boiling point of the brake fluid in the brake pistons, reducing performance under hard braking.
In addition to reduced braking efficiency, brake fluid moisture content causes corrosion - particularly the pistons - but generally throughout the brake system.The most obvious way for water to get into the braking system is by the brake fluid reservoir cap being left off of not sufficiently tightened.

We are able to supply car number plates with standard or GB design and are registered with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA). We must see the original documents that prove your identity and entitlement to the registration before we can supply a number plate to you. Legislation states that we must keep a record of your name, address and entitlement.

Had a mysterious fuel smell witch come and go on its own terms. Fuel leak was found and repaired for a good price. Also had a full service and brake caliper replaced. After going over my car fully they said was in good condition and needed no other immediate attention. Even went on to tell me about the common faults that occur with my car and what to look out for with advice on how 2 keep it in tip top condition. The guys there were very helpful in looking for my original problem ie the fuel leak there services were second to none at a very good price aswell. Would highly recommend them especially

Service from a local garage like you used to get. Have been there four or five times and it is always the same - good, polite, competent service. One time I thought they hadn't corrected the problem with the car but they talked me through it and showed me that it was all OK - and it was. What more can you ask of a garage? Excellent.

If you haven't given this friendly family run business a try, then you must! I have always been concerned when taking my car into the garage that I will be blinded with science and then completely ripped off but this is definitely not the case. The service is exemplary and they always take the time to explain the problem in an understandable way. I am 100% a repeat customer.
