We have the ability, that only comes with many years experience, of knowing the right song to play and when to play it to get people onto the dancefloor (and keep them there).
I just wanted to say a big thank you for your performance. The music was excellent and pitched at the perfect level for the occasion. Your advice was spot on to keep things in the background while it was still light and then pick it up after the buffet. Loads of people said how good the band was. Susan and I got to have a few dances and enjoy your music but as the bride and groom, everyone wants to speak to you!
As every event is individual, we never start with a "fixed" setlist. Our repertoire is literally vast with material from Swing & "Rat Pack" classics to the present day, via every decade in between. This allows us to dynamically adjust the mix of music throughout the course of the evening to ensure a successful party.
Having played for well in excess of 100 Masonic Ladies Nights we have the experience and adaptability to know just how to ensure a successful event. Whereas many bands typically have a setlist of around 60 to 100 songs, we have a vast repertoire (400 plus songs) covering varied styles and spanning over many decades - literally Glen Miller to the present day.
From sophisticated swing and smooth Latin to blues, soul to raunchy R & B we can provide the perfect mix of music to create just the right atmosphere - whatever the event. Our repertoire covers a vast range of popular, recognisable tunes and, although played with a jazz "flavour", we endeavour to keep the music tuneful and enjoyable to ensure we appeal to the widest musical taste.
