We have used this company twice. Both times, we have worked with the mortgage advisor Ian, who is absolutely fantastic! We're a fairly tricky couple to mortgage - I'm a bank nurse on a 0 hour contract but Ian is very organised with the paperwork and we've been accepted both time we've used him.
They also offer a very competitive broker fee. We won't hesitate to use them again in future.

One of the few exceptions to the rule "you get what you pay for". Despite not charging us a penny, James and the rest of the team at The Mortgage Genie made my application absolutely seamless. James was able to provide knowledgeable advice and answer any questions I had about the process.
My application was a little complex in that I was sourcing some of my deposit from overseas; James contacted lenders to determine which was the most appropriate given our circumstances, and he handheld us through the application process, turning what I imagine would be a very stressful part of the house-buying

The Mortgage Genie is the first broker I have used but not the first I have spoken to. I have always done my own mortgages for the last several years, however, I used Mortgage Genie this time as I had a lot going on.
James was professional, quick to respond, patient when required, and thorough on ensuring the mortgage was the best for me.
If you know of lots of information on mortgages and are familiar with what product is best suited yourself, at worst you end up with high quality help and additional service and advice.

I started my relocation journey at the very start of lockdown - requiring a mortgage on self-employed terms. Although the move was plagued by many COVID related delays, both James and Samantha were absolutely BRILLIANT in all their efforts and communication!!! They remained calm and patient in answering all my queries (and those of the mortgage lender), reassuring me when at times I was losing my cool (just what was I thinking moving at the start and during a global pandemic.....). As first time buyers, it can be a little daunting with all the information and paperwork. But Rebecca B from mortgagegenie has been incredible. Great service, fast response and always answers any queries, even if it was just the 'what do we do now?' question. She also found us a great deal. We have not completed our process as of yet, we are waiting on completion dates, but her service definitely deserves a 5 star review. Couldn't recommend this company enough!

I recently completed a remortgage with the guys at TMG and found them absolutely cracking. Very knowledgeable and couldn't help enough in promptly answering every query I had throughout.
