Arundell Carpets has been weaving inspiration into interiors since 1973, when founder, Philip Arundell. Returned to the UK after many years spent perfecting his craft in the Far East. After starting his business from scratch, Philip decided to change the name from Xebec Decor Ltd and, since then, Arundell Carpets Ltd has supplied more than 40 years of unbroken service to its many clients, regardless of economic climate.
In 1974, the company received its first order from Oliver Ford, decorator to the Dorchester Hotel and the Queen Mother. Since then, Arundell Carpets has established itself as the main supplier of bespoke carpets and rugs to the Dorchester and Ritz hotels in London.

At Arundell Carpets, we believe design and artwork are an integral part of the hand-tufting process. Each design, whether modern textural or complicated classical, differs according to the nature of the project and our team pay special attention to the fine details of each.
The subtle shading of elements such as leaves and flower fronds is crucial for a high-end result and to achieve this we produce our original artwork by hand while being backed up by two computer-based artists and designers.The difference is evident in all the designs featured in our collections - a gallery of exquisite artwork combined with skills and techniques passed down by generations of master craftsmen.

Arundell Carpets has rolled out its luxurious carpets and rugs to homes worldwide for more than 40 years. During this time, the expert team has been responsible for safe measurements and the complete installation of projects ranging from the very small to large, prestigious contracts involving more than 1,000 square meters of high quality, worsted pure wool and blended carpets and rugs.

In the early 1980s, we carried out the complete supply and installation of more than 3,000 square meters of high quality carpet for the largest yacht in the world - the Royal Saudi yacht, MY Abdul Aziz, under the interior design direction of David Hicks Interiors.
