We have been established since 1985 and are the longest practicing independent driving school in the Halton area.

Services
The Farm School of Motoring was established in 1985 to provide driving lessons in Widnes. Our driving instructors were soon providing driving lessons in Runcorn and all the surrounding areas. I became a driving instructor (ADI) in 1984, after passing my test on a motorbike, in a car, and in a double decker bus!
If you have any questions regarding the information here, feel free to ask. The examinations are standardised throughout the UK, The Farm School of Motoring will enable you to become a safe driver for life, not just teach you how to pass a test. The hazard perception test is taken at the same time as the theory test.
The 'show me tell me' questions require you to explain to the driving test examiner where and how to check the tyres, brakes, fluid levels, lights, direction indicators, power steering and horn. You will be asked two questions, one 'show me' and one 'tell me' question. Open the bonnet, identify where you would check the engine oil level and tell me how you would check that the engine has sufficient oil.

The Farm School of Motoring has been helping drivers of all ages and abilities achieve success at test level and beyond since 1985. Graham, Mark, Dave, John and Terry are our friendly, DVSA qualified, DBS checked instructors. Graham is currently training with the Driving Instructors Association.
