A tree reduction is the art of reducing the crown of a tree usually by an approximate percentage or a visual mark pointed out by you. We will recommend a certain limit to the reduction which will be in the interests of your tree's health.

Crown lifting can be used when people want improved access around the bottom of their tree. This can be for a number of reasons for example- mowing the lawn, to improve car access on driveways, clear space for people to walk etc. This service involves removing the lower section of the tree's branches in order to create this extra space in the area below.
Crown thinning is the selective removal of the tree's foliage by an approximate percentage. We usually start by removing the weaker points and any rubbing branches which may cause weak points in the future, following on from this we will then thin out the rest of the tree in accordance with what has already been removed to achieve a full crown thin and tidy.
The removal of dead wood is the process of removing any dead, dying, diseased, snapped or hung up branches from your tree. This service helps prevent dead wood falling down from the tree as a result of us safely removing dead/dying branches piece by piece. This is of obvious benefit to any greenhouses, sheds, garages etc. underneath your tree.
