Turning the tide on imported goods we are proud to have designed and produced one of the first double bladed cigar cutters and stamped the words "Made In England" on the product. Over the years we have designed and produced many different products including cigar cutters, cigarette holders, cigarette cases, cigar rests, pipe knives, tampers, reamers and pipe gadgets.
Central Engineering Design can produce a range of security products tailored to meet your requirements, ranging from podiums to gun alarms, together with inspection equipment. The security mirror was designed and manufactured for low-level searching of catering trolleys boarding aircraft, but can also be used for other applications.

We can engrave cylindrical as well as flat objects in almost any material using our C.N.C engraving machine. Using static diamonds we can engrave hard materials such as Stainless Steel or Titanium. We can also deep engrave soft materials such as Brass, Copper and Aluminum with a rotary attachment. We can engrave any flat object with a maximum size of 305mm by 210mm and any cylindrical component 6mm - 350mm in diameter over 160mm long.
We offer a wide range of metal polishing services from Aluminum engine cases to Brass and copper household goods such as fire surrounds door furniture etc. We also offer a lacquering service to protect and prevent tarnishing. We have worked on many interesting projects including a copper christening font for one of the queen's homes to portholes for the Havengore famous for taking Winston Churchill Body down the River Thames in 1964.

I required a 47 year old motorcycle silencer renovating. As shown on a YouTube video they split the silencer, knocked out the dents, rewelded a loose baffle and welded the 2 halves of the silencer together. It was stripped of its original plating and rechromed. My bike now has the exhaust system on and looks and sounds original. Excellent restoration.

I have used this company for many years and have been very pleased with the results. They have managed to salvage some very challenging and hard to replace vintage parts and have been honest about what is likely to be achieved when parts are badly deteriorated.
