If you have any items you would like valued for auction our experts are available at our saleroom to carry out free, no obligation valuations every Thursday from 10am - 2pm or by appointment on another day.
If you find an item in our catalogues that you love and just have to own, bidding is easy! We are currently running online auctions only making it even simpler for you! When you register you can choose to pay a 3 flat registration fee or 3% of your total hammer price. Once registered you can then find the item you are interested in and place your maximum bid online.
Some of our customers have said it would be useful to have a guide showing the total amount payable after our buyers commission charges have been added to your bid. Our bidding increments start at 6 and a buyers commission of 15% + VAT is added to any winning bids. Please note that any bids made online with Easyliveauction.com will incur an additional charge of either a flat fee of 3 per auction or 3% of your purchase total.
Whether it is associated with a bereavement, separation, relocation, refurbishment or just downsizing, clearing a property can be a stressful experience. Although selling to a dealer may appear to be an easy, low risk option a dealer is in business to make a profit so you are unlikely to be offered market values.
Kent Auction Galleries Ltd is within a five minute drive from the Eurotunnel Terminal and Folkestone Central railway station; and 10 minutes from the ferry service to the Continent. We have disabled access & bathroom facilities. Refreshments are available on Auction Days. Immediately after this turn left (Highfield Industrial Estate) as the estate opens up park on the right hand side outside Kent Auction Galleries Ltd.

Is this an auction house or a vanity project with terrible service? As dealers we have bought from there a few times, worst part is their 'Complimentary In House Postage Service' after a couple of good experiences with glassware and ceramics, we were lulled into a false sense of security so bought more than we would have before. That order turned up with over 75% of it smashed beyond repair. It was clear to us, having experience posting delicate items, that because they were already late in posting it, as usual, they rushed packing and put far too much in one box to cut costs, a skill they are

Very positive experience as a buyer. Quick to provide a condition report on something that I was interested in buying.
Once purchased, they were quick to package and post, with very reasonable charges and excellent communication as to the progress of sending my purchase.

Use to use this auction house to buy from for years in most their fortnightly auctions. No problems.few years back.
I recently started to trade again after a 3-4 year break. Was excited to buy from them again but their customer service is dreadful now. Email replies curt and not particularly helpful or friendly.
Over the top postage and packaging cost if you want brought items posted.
Absolutely gutted. Has they management changed recently? The Father and daughter team use to be friendly, polite and helpful.
Very reluctant to use again to be honest.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!!! I have furnished my home and bought many fabulous gifts for friends and family here.
Whenever I have sold I have had a fabulous experience, wonderfully friendly staff with a real dedication to what they do - I was brought up trailing around various auction houses where people looked down their noses when they saw a child and this place smashed that stuff image completely - well done guys!
