Dyfi Architecture
Dyfi Architecture is a HESPR Registered, Quality Assured, Historic Environment, Conservation Professional Company. Dyfi Architecture provide imaginative and innovative ways of renovating, extending and altering your building without compromising on what makes it significant. We take a friendly and informed approach to allow your aspirations to become a reality.

We understand the whole build process from conception to absolute realisation. We have strong links with other construction professionals and trades. As well as being a highly qualified Architectural Professional, the founder and creative director Steve is also a Chartered Environmentalist and is on the Register of Accredited Conservation Professionals.
Services
Dyfi Architecture is a Registered, Multi-Award Winning Architectural Practice based in the Dyfi Valley, a UNESCO designated Biosphere, near Machynlleth in Mid Wales. This outstanding location is a very special and inspirational place to live and work. We also have an office in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
We offer all RIBA work stages from inception to completion, or a bespoke partial service as required. It may be useful to ascertain the detailed Condition of a property and it's potential for adaption, Listed or otherwise, before purchase. We work for our Clients rather than their Mortgage Company.
Many standard surveyor's house reports support work that is inappropriate, often unnecessary and may actually conflict with the Listed status or context of the property. This can be costly and damaging even if the property is not Listed. Listed Buildings require specialist advice and Historic England, Cadw and other Statutory Bodies recommend that survey work should be carried out by those with Building Conservation qualifications and experience.
