Nova's background in mechanical design and draughting is wide ranging across many engineering sectors. Due to the nature of many projects that Nova have been involved in, our engineers are often required to visit sites to perform site surveys and site measurements. This has been extensively across the UK and into Europe. Nova are able to provide high quality 3D rendering and 3D animation services.

Services
Nova Design are a UK based supplier of sub-contract mechanical design engineering services. With our modern design office based in the West Midlands, we have 40 seats of the latest in 3D solid modelling and 2D drawing CAD software and associated design tools giving a capacity of 2000 man hours per week.
It is the specific policy of Nova Design Limited to provide its engineering design services to an ISO 9001 quality assured system - the highest professional standard which will meet and exceed client requirements. In order to meet these requirements in a cost-effective manner the company will operate a quality assurance system certified and approved to BS ISO 9001:2015 - Dedicated to the "right first time" approach.
In those early days, engineering design was still very much a manual industry and at its inception Nova consisted of 10 drawing boards, one typewriter, a card index for sales and a simple phone system along with Dave, Julia and a small team. The total number of design engineers employed by Nova both internally and externally was around 15.
Nova's management team structure gives our clients the advantage of dealing with a family owned and hands-on managed company, where their demands and concerns are appreciated by the Nova Design Management Team on a daily basis. Each member of our management team is committed to forming a key part of a professional engineering design consultancy.
Nova Design provided us with excellent support in the areas of drawing scanning and PDF to DWG conversions. Their work has been a major factor in our cost optimisation and modifications to existing drawings which would have needed a complete redraw, this not only would have been expensive but also time consuming.
