Terrible experience when giving notice to move accountants. We were with them for 3 years and when we decided to move elsewhere, they took personal offence and immediately sent a huge invoice. Not interested in the reasons why we wanted to change. They tried to backdate "undercharged" fees for 3 years even though they had been invoicing and paid monthly and there had never been any question that we might not be paying enough for certain services in the numerous meetings we had with them about exactly this. In fact we overpaid for bookkeeping we didn't use and were due a substantial refund. When

We moved to another company after struggling with them for a while. Our end-year accounts had significant mistakes and they were withholding information when we decided to move to another firm. They didn't inform us for significant law changes that affected our taxes. Also,their responses to e-mails was very slow (from one to three weeks) and finally we had to pay another accountant to do the same work that they hadn't done properly.
