Sally Hayter Physiotherapy
I am happy to treat all age ranges from children through to the elderly no matter what their functional limitations may be. Treatments available are largely in the area of musculo-skeletal out-patients which includes back and neck pain, tennis elbow, headaches, post surgical rehabilitation, arthritis, sports injuries, personal injury claims and general orthopaedic work.

I have worked in a Pilates Studio for 5 years and therefore use a lot of core stability work in rehabilitation. I have good links with Winchester Pilates where further work can be continued. I also use acupuncture as an adjunct to many of my techniques. It is generally used in conjunction with a home exercise programme to promote an all round effect.
Services
Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession concerned with human function and movement and maximising potential. Physiotherapists work in a wide variety of health settings such as intensive care, mental illness, stroke and neurology, care of the elderly and occupational health and ergonomics. It is far more than just the fixing of musculo-skeletal problems and sports injuries.
Sally qualified from Brunel University in 1998 with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy. She began her career working within the Portsmouth area and quickly specialised in musculo-skeletal conditions, working in and around the area ever since. This ensures that clients receive the highest quality treatment and care carried out by a therapist who follows a professional code of conduct and has full liability insurance.
TNS or Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation can offer pain relief without drugs. A small mobile unit, which can be worn almost invisibly, and used throughout your daily activities. Ergonomically designed neck pillows available in 2 materials. One with the pressure relieving properties of memory foam, changing its shape to fit your body, the second moulded from cast polyurethane for extra support.

Report
Recently used after having full reconstruction surgery on my ACL. Cannot fault in any way, my consultant has been very pleased with progress and said a large part of that was due to 'exceptional physiotherapy. Would definitely use again.

Report
I injured my calf just before going sking. After treatment and good sound advice from Sally on how not to make the calf any worse when sking, I managed to complete the 6 days of ski lessons and did not have to drop out at anytime. I have no doubt that without this treatment and help I would not have managed the 6 days.
