Seven of the present Oakwood staff have worked here over ten years. New members have started with us in 2016 and the fresh ideas they bring are helping us think about what we can do for our patients. All staff take part in ongoing training and development. They aim to deliver great customer service in a friendly environment where you are the priority.
Our passion is your vision and we dedicate ourselves to providing the best in eyecare with the latest technology, up to date advice and techniques and a complete range of high quality eyewear products to satisfy all needs and requirements. Using waves of light waves to illustrate the different layers that make up the back of the eye and beneath the surface of the regular retinal image.
We follow up each appointment with the chance for you to leave a review so we can continually monitor and improve the services we provide. There are many ways you can get in touch to let us know how well we did. You can contact the practice via telephone, email or in person, or even leave a review via our Google or Facebook pages.
Here at Oakwood Eyecare we offer a range of plans to help our patients get the most out of our products and services. Our plans allow you to save money by spreading your costs over monthly instalments. Each plan is completely adaptable to your specific requirements and can be tailored to best suit your personal eye care needs.
Tests are done to calculate how well the eyes work with each other in terms of their alignment and how they focus. Vision is measured with any existing glasses and compared to the findings at the end of the test so patients understand how much difference a change in prescription could make. At the eye of your eye test our Optometrist will discuss their findings with you and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions.

A company that cares and staff that care just the same! Cannot fault the service, care and knowledge you get! I've never had my vision as clear as it is now,since using Oakwood/Alvaston eyecare. I even understand what's going on with my eyes and how things work!
