I received a phone call from a staff member pointing out some missing features of the product I ordered - not of importance to me as it happened, but it did illustrate a first class level of customer care which is invariably missing in other companies

It was 5 stars. But it’s rapidly loosing stars now due to persistent marketing/feedback requests. Imagine if a shopkeeper kept following you around asking if everything was ok….. it wouldn’t happen. I mean, jeez - I brought an ink cartridge. It works. Well done. I’ll try and find a chilled shop next time!

It was easy to select the printer I wanted and at a good price. I appreciated the reminder after ordering that the printer wasn't Wifi, nor did it do double sided printing and did I wish to continue with the order. It would have been good to be advised that it needed a USB A-B cable. I had to guess that it did from "What's in the Box". I am not technically minded and my existing printer had such a cable attached to it just as the power cable was. That doesn't detract from good customer experience but would give extra reassurance.

What impressed me was that i bought a seriously expensive piece of kit, and was surprised when they called to make sure I knew what I was buying and really needed to buy such a high end machine. This kind of attention to detail is unusual. The machine by the way, and the delivery were all excellent.

After I placed my order (for Canon PIXMA G7050), I received a phone call from them asking if I was aware it wouldn't do double-sides auto-fed scanning - which I was. They've clearly had returns from those who didn't read the specs correctly, and want to avoid more - but I really appreciated the extra care to make sure the printer did what I wanted/needed.
Delivery was quick - and can't fault them. 👍🏻
