If you regularly watch television programmes such as BBC's Rogue Traders you could be forgiven for thinking that all builders are untrustworthy cowboys. While it cannot be denied that there is a tiny minority of so-called builders who should be avoided like the plague, the vast majority are reputable tradesmen who will produce work of a completely acceptable standard.
