For 50 years J Mould (Reading) has been involved in the recycling of materials arising from demolition and waste aggregates. Significant investment in 2018 has seen the installation of a state of the art Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) at the Reading Quarry site.
With an investment of almost 2 Million this new facility will allow J Mould (Reading) to recycle all materials tipped on-site therefore reducing landfill disposal and ensuring the implementation of the three R's principle - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. This helps to cut down on the amount of waste that is thrown away which conserves our natural resources, landfill space and energy.

Reducing the environmental impact of construction projects throughout the UK is a shared objective for every company operating in the sector. J Mould (Reading) are committed to sustainable development, and our in-house construction-materials recycling operation is a prime example.
The facility is capable of recycling nearly all the waste materials that are brought in; these are then sent back to construction projects as recycled products, minimising the disposal of waste to landfill and completing a sustainable closed loop supply chain.Recycled demolition waste is a valuable source of keenly priced construction materials that maintain exceptionally high standards of quality.
