My style as a wedding photographer is largely documentary, although I prefer to use the term 'candid' or 'natural' as this perfectly describes the way I like to photograph weddings in and around Oxfordshire. I am often asked by guests how I know the couple as they assume that I am a friend or relative from the way I photograph a wedding.
By using a friendly and relaxed (but still professional) approach I am able to photograph weddings from the 'inside out' getting a 'guests eye view' of your wedding day. I am an Oxfordshire wedding photographer, but I will travel anywhere for the right wedding.

Services
All images are available to download as colour and black & white. A second professional photographer can be added for 300. Additional images taken by the second photographer will be edited by me to ensure consistency of the final image set. An engagement shoot is a great way to get to know your photographer before your special day and can be added at a discounted price of 200 (on its own 300).

I never had once doubt how amazing Dale would be but he blew our minds in so many ways.
I honestly can't thank Dale enough for what he did with out daughter and letting her take few photos. He went above and beyond to include her and have totally inspired her. She has never been a child who has a dream job idea but she now want to be a photographer. Dale made a lasting impression.
My mum who hates having her picture taking remarked how subtle you are and blend in to the background so no one ever felt awkward.
We received the pictures and I'm speechless. There are just a work of art by Dale.

I could not recommend Dale enough. He was just fantastic. Neither James nor I like to be in front of the camera and we always feel a bit stiff so Dale was just perfect, very natural and captured the moment rather than poses. I was unbelievable nervous in the morning but Dale distracted me and I didn't even notice the camera. We could not be happier with the photos we have got, you could really tell Dale had experienced the day along side us and cared just as much as us. The memories and happiness that was captured is absolutely priceless. Thank you so much.

We booked Dale to be the photographer at our wedding, originally in October 2020 but when our wedding had to be moved due to covid, he was so understanding and accommodating, moving our booking to September this year with no issues.
On the day of the wedding he was punctual and we didn’t need to worry about anything because he was professional and courteous throughout.
He captured so many moments we were not able to see for ourselves.
We have now had our photos back, even quicker than expected and we are in love with them.
His price is so reasonable too and his work is worth every penny!

We had booked Dale pre-Covid to photograph our wedding which took place in August 2021 (delayed by a year due to the pandemic). We decided to book after an initial video consultation with him as we found him very calm and easy to deal with. We were not disappointed. He is a very experienced photographer, having shot multiple times at a number of venues throughout Oxford. This meant that he was able to deal with a number of hiccups that we encountered including a last minute venue change. He went out of his way to help and guide vendors on the day who had travelled down from London navigate Oxford

Dale was a superb photographer from start to finish! From the initial emails and video chat to the day, to the delivery of photos, couldn’t have asked for better! Not only is he a great photographer (as you can see from his portfolio), he’s a stand up guy too - helped out with various odd jobs on the wedding day, accommodated our families’ requests for photos, and is just a nice chap to have a chat with. Would definitely recommend!

My partner and I were nervous to have our photos taken but Dale put us at ease as he was so friendly and laid back and made the experience fun! Our guests even commented on how chilled the group photo experience was as this can sometimes be stressful.
Dale captured our wedding day perfectly.
