Many thanks for a truly superb evening for my 50th. All of the food was up to your usual high standards but that beef. WOW! was truly gorgeous. The thing that I most like is that once you arrive I can fully trust you to look after everything from coats to coasters and know that if there was anything out of your control you will let one of us know, otherwise you get on with the job.

Very poor. Arrived at 9.58 and all shutters down... OK, a little early. Gorgeous morning so wandered around for a few minutes, imagining how lovely it would be to sit at table on lawn and enjoy breakfast.
Wrong. 2 staff members bustled out of kitchen - neither acknowledged me with so much as a 'Good morning' or "We'll be opening in just a few minutes" Something, anything. But no.
At 10.08 shutters were still down, so got back into car and drove to Sons Of The North in Armitage Bridge. There, I had a fabulous brekki and put £25 in their till, instead.
It really isn't complicated.

I'm already a great fan of Guest Dining, visiting for a coffee or lunch I really appreciate the friendliness and warmth of Mandy and her team, the lovely surroundings and of course the delicious food. Calling in on a very snowy walk with my friend today, to whom I've raved about Guest Dining, we were disappointed to find it closed. Mandy saw us looking cold outside and very kindly offered to make us a coffee, gave us cake and a place to sit in the adjoining barn out of the snow. Thankyou! She explained she'd had to close temporarily because of the unpredictability of the Lockdown/tier systems which

Two of us went today for lunch, we walked there and were greeted with a very warm welcome and shown to our table. Great atmosphere, efficient but unfussy service, we were well looked after. We had the quiche of the day 3 cheese and onion with potato salad, and a ploughmans platter, which we shared. Every morsel was fresh and delicious.Special mention to the quiche which was served warm. We finished with lattes and cake which were equally tasty. Can't wait to go back. What a little gem !

Guest dining were the caterers for my wedding 2 weeks ago. From conception, through planning, to service and food on the final day they were wonderful. The food was great and I had several comments through the day about how happy guests were with the service that was offered. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!
