Toots Taxis Ongar

SHOCKINGLY RUDE. I called and was told that I was 6 miles away so too far to collect. So I said that’s ok. I then put the phone down and saw that the cab company was a 10 min drive away not thinking that was too far to collect a customer. So I called back to double check as I was stuck with no way to get home. When I politely said I had just called and wanted to make sure I wasn’t able to be collected as I was only 10 mins away I was shouted at by a man that was extremely rude and quite upsetting that someone would speak to a customer with a simple genuine query. Couldn't get through to get a cab...when I finally did couldn't get through to update them to change time or to cancel..shame as chose a local company to help support smaller businesses.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Gary for taking us to the Savoy on Wednesday in his black cab! This really added to the experience and we were really grateful! Friendly service, punctual, calm ride, easy to book - all round winner. Cannot recommend you highly enough. Thank you 🙂

I am not from the area but needed food picked up from Smiths in Ongar and delivered to a elderly resident at Weighbridge Court for me and you have been extremely helpful to me arranging this. It means a lot as the gentleman is in his nineties and just needs a treat and you have helped me with this, so, thank you and will be using you again, stay safe and take care x

Very disappointed. Got a taxi from Alecs restaurant to The Prince Albert and was asked to pay an additional £10 to the £9.50 fare. I would not use Toots again or recommend them to others.

For years I have been using Ongar cars , but have not not been satisfied since they have amalgamated with another company from Epping .
I was in Sainsbury's and the man in front of me had just ordered a car on the internal phone and I got speaking him.
He said he has not got his mobile… with him otherwise he would have called Toots . He gave me your number for future enquiries.
I called Ongar cars on the Sainsbury's phone and was told it would be 15-20 minutes for a car, I declined and called Toots .
A car was there in 3 minutes and
