Ed Wright is a BMW Master Technician and has run C&W alongside Richard Codling, himself a Vauxhall Master Technician, since 2014. Together they bring over 40 years of quality vehicle servicing to Newmarket, and pride themselves on delivering a quality service. Although we specialise in BMW, Mini & Vauxhall due to our background and training, modern diagnostics for vehicle servicing allow us to cater for all makes and models.
We have worked on everything from Fiat 500 to Ferrari F430. We pride ourselves on delivering the best service we can. We will only charge for work that we've done, obviously. We will aim to source parts at the most competitive price that we can, and we will try to turn your car around as soon as we can, whilst ensuring that repairs are done properly and to the best of our ability.

Between Ed & Richard, there's not much the C&W Automotive Vehicle Servicing in Newmarket can't offer. All makes and models are catered for, as well as comprehensive MOT facilities. Ed and Richard can also facilitate collection and delivery of your vehicle, often on the same day, from your workplace or home, as both co-owners live locally and frequently collect and drop off vehicles on the way to and from their workplace.

Well what can I say, these guys at C&W are just amazing. I trust them entirely which puts me at ease when I have any car troubles, I have never felt I have had to question their integrity or practices. My first encounter with them was over a year and a half ago where they dropped everything to help me with my car as well as assured me the problem had been resolved when I was nervous about getting back on the road. My Mini Cooper has been brought back
To life by these fab lot!! It was diagnosed with a suspected terminal engine damage- but these guys said I might be lucky and I am !! I turned up they popped it straight on ramp, diagnosed another problem and the part has just been delivered as I type!!! It’s being fitted now - all in less than an hour !!! Amazing service thank you sooooooo much !!!! I can’t believe my luck !!!!

Ed and Paul are two fantastic chaps and so good at what they do, you really get your money's worth and they just can't do enough for you! Been using them for three years now and never had a problem. Car broke down they came and picked me up, truck got broken they opened Saturday morning to fix it. Bulbs went popped in and they fixed em right away, service like that is so hard to find..

Popped into C&W Automotive with a gear selection problem. they took the car in and looked at it immediately, diagnosed the problem and set about fixing it.. they were quick, honest and their knowledge was invaluable. i asked if they could boost my battery which was no problem. i was told the car would be ready in two hours. nothing was too much trouble, and i would highly recommend them.
after i picked the car up i drove it problem free for 6 hours non stop to Cornwall. a big thank you to them. just wish you were my local garage....;)
