We are a small, long-established, family-run home which aims to provide a warm and caring environment for elderly residents. Our Home is Your Home We understand it can be a difficult decision to leave the home in which you have lived for many years and to which you may be very attached, so we want you to make our home your home.
We select our staff for their integrity, friendliness, skill and professionalism but they also need to share our values of love, compassion and respect for people as individuals. To maintain our very high standards of care we take great time and effort to select just the right staff.
To ensure that we have a great team, our philosophy is 'employ caring people - rather than - employing people to care' Our approach focuses on spiritual as well as physical well-being and we arrange regular visits from various church groups to provide support and encouragement.I personally have a wealth of knowledge & experience in caring for the elderly.

Availability of rooms are always sought after at Byway House and we highly recommend that you come and experience the whole of the Byway Care Home for yourself, not just the luxury bedrooms, but talk to the staff and feel the happy family atmosphere that can be noticed as soon as you walk through the door.

The registered manager and staff team were motivated and proud of the service they provided to people. Actually, this is a wonderful home. My friends had their grandfather in Byway House and cannot say enough good things about it. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the food is all freshly prepared by a proper chef, and the rooms are always clean with a lovely homely atmosphere. I know this as I visited the gentleman on several occasions.
