From Events, Balls and Company open days to top level Corporate and Society catering we specialise in larger hog roast and barbecue events. With our extensive range of in-house equipment we can cater from 300 to as many as 6000 guests at any one time. Based in Dorset we travel all over the UK and have travelled as far as France and Germany.

Having worked with a host of well known corporate companies and event organisers we are also regularly employed by most of the top Universities and colleges incl. Oxford, Exeter and Sandhurst for their large seasonal balls. With our innovative buffets over the last 18 years we have become recognised as the premier company in this field.
Services
We prefer to use meat from 'happy' animals that have been correctly housed, allowed to roam and treated well. We are not an advocate of 'organic' meat', we believe this can be misleading and does not always mean the animals are well cared for. We can supply a number of traditional and rare breeds such as Tamworth and Sandy & Black pigs.
We are passionate about food, its freshness and presentation and where possible like to use locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. With a large and varied repertoire including vegetarian and halal dishes, we will happily quote for whatever you require. We excel in presenting delicious, contemporary salads to compliment the spit roast and barbecue menus.
A hog roast is an ideal way to feed lots of people, whether it's for 300 or 6000. Our equipment is unique, designed and used exclusively by ourselves, unlike other companies, with our ovens the hog/lamb is completely visible throughout the entire cooking process, giving maximum impact with the minimum of fuss.
The Whole Hog has a selection of different barbecues, gas and charcoal to suit different menus and functions. To barbecue is a way of cooking rather than a type of food, so almost anything can be cooked on them. Meats and fish can be marinated and seasoned to produce tastes from around the world including Thai, Cajun, Caribbean, Moroccan.
We have been involved with corporate events for the last 16 years in all their forms and sizes. Hog roast and Barbecue make a great choice for Parties, Balls, and Company Open Days, especially where numbers are quite high but budgets are not. They give a more theatrical approach to food and offer a brilliant focal point.

I attended the Swallowfield Show today with 8 Air Cadets and 5 staff. The chap running it and I cut a deal and, on a day with simply torrential rain, the cadets had a hot meal which was absolutely delishious!! I can't than TWH enough - absolutey lovely; sweet, succulent and rammed with flavour!!
