Established in 1974, Clarke Printing has gone from strength to strength, constantly adapting to the ever changing world of printing and design. Our purpose-built site in Monmouth provides the space and facilities to produce and deliver your printing hassle-free and on time. With our experience in design & print, you can be sure that we can meet your needs.
The ideal format to send us artwork is as a PDF file. However, we can accept many other file types (for example JPG, TIF, Microsoft Word, and more).
When creating artwork, you should ideally allow a 3mm bleed (bleed is where the image 'bleeds' off the edge of the page so that when we cut down the finished print job, we trim off the bleed, ensuring that there is no white space on the outside edge of the printed item) on all sides and convert RGB colours to CMYK.

If you are unsure about how to go about creating your artwork, then we can create it for you. We can also offer suggestions and help if you get stuck. We will be happy to help. We can take your files and enhance them or create a new design based on your layout. We can recreate old designs that you may have used previously but no longer have a computer file for.
A compliments slip normally contains the same name & address information as on your letterheads, the words "with compliments" and often space for a short hand-written message. Our standard compliment slips are printed on high quality 120gsm uncoated paper, although other papers are available, for example the top quality Conqueror range of paper.
An invoice is a document issued by a business, describing detailed information of services supplied. Invoices usually include the description of the service supplied, the costs (including a breakdown of V.A.T. charges), address & business details details. Additionally terms & conditions of payment are often included, sometimes on the reverse of the invoice if there is a lot of information.
