Services
Having repaired, re-plumbed, re-wired and re-decorated the farmhouse Arthur turned his energies towards the outbuildings. Convinced that a tea room would be a valuable asset to the growing nursery business he began the long process of creating the tea room and gift shop. The tea room building was originally a carriage house with a hay loft above, and the dovecote on the front elevation gives a date of 1873.
Our chefs Chris and Rachel prepare breakfasts and lunches daily, and Sue and Jane work in our Cake Kitchen producing all the lovely cakes and pastries for the Tea Room and the Shop. As all our food is home-made on the premises, we are able to cater for all special dietary requirements (give us some notice if you can).
Our pretty little gift shop is packed full of hand-selected products, from small pickups to a lovely gift for someone special. We carefully select product ranges and we currently stock a beautiful range of Sophie Allport and Wrendale ceramics and giftware, Powder socks (which make a lovely gift), and a full range of Country Candles and room diffusers.
We provide a secluded venue set in beautiful countryside. Our conference facility is located in a converted barn which has been lovingly restored to provide a modern training venue, in a rustic setting. We are conveniently centrally situated just off the A50 at Blythe Bridge, and within 5 miles of the M6.
We have a lovely room above the tea room that is a perfect venue to celebrate a baby shower. The room can accommodate up to 20 people on one big table, or up to 35 people on tables of 6 or 8. Our most popular package is for Afternoon Tea at 17.50 per head, plus a 25 room hire charge.
Enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches on white and malted bread, individual cakes and pastries, a fresh fruit scone with jam and clotted cream and unlimited Yorkshire Tea or freshly ground Shropshire Coffee. Why not add a few bottles of prosecco too! We provide white linen tablecloths, all crockery and cutlery and pink, blue, lemon or white napkins.

What a gem of a place, situated in the lovely Staffordshire countryside. The tea room is absolutely beautiful. Great food and fantastic service with lots of home baking.
There is also a lovely gift shop with lots of fantastic stock including local produce. The garden nursery is filled with stunning plants and flowers in the spring and summer and lovely Christmas wreaths and decorations in the Winter. Would definitely recommend to everyone to visit.

I wanted to buy 2 gifts from the shop. But being lunch time it was busy. No staff were on the shop counter I was asked to wait until the diners were seated .I waited and nobody served me. So I put the gifts back and went. all customers deserve a survice. In order where they were in the queue. Not be pushed further back

Visited on Sunday for my Aunts 90th birthday lunch. The room was well set out and provided plenty of room for our big party. The traditional Sunday lunch was very good, with a special mention for the cauliflower cheese, which was so good I finished off a whole bowl of it :) Service was very good and the staff worked hard to make the event special.
