Unfortunately very disappointed with the overall service. I expressed this directly with Derek Bate and via my solicitors.
Derek was instructed with specific instructions as my partner and I are trying to ascertain the most likely root cause of an ongoing impact noise and reverberation issue.
All of the points were not addressed and when asked to be addressed, it was followed up by a sarcastic and unhelpful email which contradicted everything discussed to date.
To be completely transparent and fair, the communication and punctuality was spot on at the outset, however, once the "investigations

I sought out the Barnsley Bate office with urgent requirement for a schedule of condition survey to be conducted for my family business. We contacted Derek to resolve a long standing building concern. Derek is very experienced and knowledgeable. This came through loud and clear to me. Although not a huge issue, our problem needed further investigations to resolve. The contractors which Derek arranged for the necessary excavations were also very good. The work was completed quickly and the site left neat and tidy with wet concrete being the only clue that they had been.

I contacted the Barnsley Bate office seeking advice regarding a party wall dispute. Ryan Hannibal- law answered the phone and immediately put me at ease and after a discussion offered to send the appropriate correspondence to my neighbour .
