Building custom motorcycles often involves a radical career change, and we've seen some pretty strange jumps over the years. Tom Simpson's background is especially unusual: he trained as a blacksmith before setting up Foundry Motorcycle in England six years ago. Up for sale is our stunning Moto Guzzi V65 Street Tracker.
Over the last 12 months we have used this bike to showcase the craftsmanship and engineering that going into a Foundry Motorcycle build. It has displayed at numerous shows including The Bike Shed 2018, MCN London Motorcycle Show 2018, The Alexandra Palace Motorcycle Show 2018, The Malle Mile 2018 Pro Builders Display and has been featured in multiple magazines.

Services
This "hands on" workshop run by Tom of Foundry Motorcycle, specifically aimed at custom and classic motorcycles, will teach you how to carry out the all-important, routine safety checks as well as how to perform basic service procedures allowing you to enjoy your pride and joy.
We'll check and change your oil and filters, tension chains and belts and we will give your brake system a good going over, delve into model specific details and as you'll be in a bespoke bike building workshop it'd be rude not to discuss customisation options. Not so basic rations and refreshments will be provided and if time allows we'll play with some more entertaining tools.

While out on a ride today, my brother’s BMW experienced a serious problem. The nearest bike shop at the time was Foundry Motorcycles. Called and spoke to Tom about the problem and, although not what they do, he invited us round so that he could have a look at it. Once there, Tom investigated the problem, provided a short term, temporary solution (the problem was not something he’d be able to do on the day) and, perhaps most importantly, he gave up his valuable time and provided a lot of information and sound advice. Based on our experience today, we have to say that Tom is an absolute gentleman

Popped into Foundry Motorcycles today on a 'day off work' road trip.. met Tom for the first time, what a place, what a nice bloke. Even though I only bought a coffee (superbly made I may add) and a T-shirt he gave me his time and attention and his passion for what he does oozes out of him.. a McQueen coolness about the guy.. I'll be back, and one day with a 'can you build me a..' request hopefully. Thanks Mate.

I bought a pair of 'Churchill's deer skin cuff gloves' from the foundry 6-7 months ago. They are the most comfortable gloves ever. In rain they act like shammy leather, soaking up the rain, but warming to your… hands. In the heat still comfortable. 2 weeks ago I was rear ended stationary at a light by a BMW doing 30 mph. I flew across the road, whacking the road hard. My left hand hitting first as I slid. The left glove is scrapped some, but I truly believe it saved my clutch hand. Plus....I looked real cool, wearing 'Churchill's' as I flew through the air. When I can afford it Im getting
