BWT Physio follows professional guidelines and NHS recommendations to ensure the well-being of both patients and staff. As a medical practice we will continue to wear face coverings see here and appropriate PPE and to observe social distancing on our premises. I was really impressed with how Tom Jeffrey approached my problem.
His manner and professionalism was first rate and the ultrasound scan of my painful joint was an added bonus. What a great way of helping to confirm the diagnosis. I had physiotherapy with Sam Eeles, and it was so amazing that I booked my daughter in to see her! I was first referred to BWT by my GP 8 years ago for leg pain, and Nicky was the first physio I saw, who was very helpful in treating my pain.

Our therapists appreciate how back pain and sciatica interferes with your quality of life. We are interested in YOU and your pain, why you have developed symptoms and what we can do to not only treat but to prevent pain from coming back. We will assess, advise and manage your treatment with a range of hands on manual treatment.
BWT Physios understand pain and will listen to you carefully to guide your detailed assessment. Our team of specialist physios will sort out the cause of your problem and put things right. We are confident in our assessments but may recommend you have a diagnostic ultrasound scan to determine the underlying cause of your problem and its outcome.
Ultrasound imaging produces pictures of the inside of the body. It is also called ultrasound scanning or sonography. It is safe and painless utilising high-frequency sound waves that are collected as they bounce back by the probe. A computer then uses those sound waves to create an image.

I have had a variety of issues since moving to the area, BWT has sorted them all. Most recently a displaced wrist fracture, same wrist as an earlier break, which now has great mobility and better strength than before. Most of this has been achieved via zoom! As well as the expertise and a wide range of treatments (one was recommended by NHS physio, but turned out not to be available locally) it is the patience with my slow learning of new exercises and great encouragement that makes all the difference.

Before coming to BWT, I had been misdiagnosed by TWO practitioners for my intense shoulder pain. As a result, this lead to continued pain and unnecessary spending. However, after one session with the diagnostic ultrasound team at BWT, they discovered I had a Hill-sachs lesion and a swollen bicipital in my shoulder, within half an hour! I would highly recommend this practice to anyone as their range of equipment and treatment methods is impressive and of a very high standard, used and implemented by a team of hardworking, friendly professionals.
Many thanks again BWT!

Top notch outfit. My physio is Paul Houghoughi who is the best I have experienced. His diagnosis was very thorough and more extensive than any other I have had including ultrasound. The treatment plan is clear and appropriate and I have seen significant improvements already in my problem. He is also supports world class professional climbers and through this is clearly at the cutting edge of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of injuries. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I’m 17 weeks post Achilles’ tendon rupture and I want to do everything I can to A. Avoid a re rupture and B. Get strong and mobile enough to enjoy dancing, skiing, cycling, table tennis again. I chose BWT and in particular Paul Houghoughi having studied the profile of their practitioners on their website. More expensive than other practices but boy was it worth it! The knowledge, confidence and detailed help that Paul gave me was fantastic. What’s more he performed a Wells test on my swollen calf and recommended that I contact my GP. A couple of days later I was having a scan in hospital
