Eridge House was built to a high specification as a family home in 1915. This, plus extensive, additional modern and purpose built accommodation now affords luxury en-suite bedrooms set over three floors whilst retaining the character of the original house.
Situated in over half an acre of land, a two minute walk to the seafront and the Polegrove park opposite, this beautiful house now holds its purpose as Bexhill's finest privately owned/run care home in the select residential area of West Bexhill. The home is family run and has been owned by Mrs Heidi Haddow since 1988.

Services
We understand that moving into a care home can be a difficult time for both the resident and their families. With this in mind, we encourage a trial period to help with the transition and deciding that "this is the home for me". A needs assessment will also be completed to ensure that we can meet the resident's needs before they move in.
We encourage all residents to bring their own furniture/ornaments from their homes to make their rooms feel like a home from home. Of course, we encourage all residents to keep connections such as hairdressers, and day centres. We also have a resident hairdresser and chiropodist team. Of course, we try to encourage residents to carry on their daily routine as they would if they were at home.

My Dad, Keith Belcher stayed here after our Mum died. I can honestly say he was happy here. Visiting the café on the seafront and the bowling club , all accessible in his motorised buggy. Staff are great , very understanding and they listen to you. Beautiful house , lovely gardens, great food. Thank you for making my Dads stay a good one.
