Services
Salon Director, Tom Craddock trained in Covent Garden, has a prestigious L'Oreal Colour Specialist Degree and has 24 years of experience. Tom holds Hertford's Cheerful Trader Award 2011, Top Stylist Award (2 years running) and the L'Oreal Colour Trophy Regional Finalist Award. Tom is currently not taking on any new clients as his book is full.

A deposit is required for some services. We offer a bespoke service so prices always vary, depending on time taken, all prices are your guide to our amounts.

Have been using Tom Ashley as my hairdresser for over 20years. Can’t fault him or his staff always friendly and courteous making you feel special. After lockdown and a fire I was lucky and got an early appointment. The salon has been re-decorated in its traditional style (thankfully) and the green chairs are still there!!! Same warm feeling salon and it just felt really good to be back!! Excellent cut and blow as always and great to catch up. Fingers crossed that was the last time for lockdown. Good luck for the future your hard work and client care are second to none Well done

I’ve been going to Tom Ashley for as long as I can remember, even after moving to London and failing to find any salon that was as good. I have loved every haircut and colour I’ve ever had, to the point where I now just let Tom decide what to do. The whole team are so friendly and relaxed that it is a pleasure to come for an appointment, and I always leave with a smile as well as fab hair. I’m now local again, thank goodness, as I can’t imagine ever going anywhere else!

I waited so long to have my highlights done ,paid more than was quoted when I booked my appointment online ,because a toner was used . .My previous hairdresser didn't ever use one and my colour was lovely and cheaper ! I had explained several times that my hair doesn't lift easily my fringe was very dark and the last part to be done so hardly changed!! I was sad and disappointed with the general colour. I went in with very bright blonde ends and was expecting the same on the roots with a whole head of highlights but when it was dry it looked dark and grey. I was told that this was because of the

Tom has been cutting my hair for nearly 20 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The whole salon is great - all staff are professional and super friendly. For me getting my haircut at Tom Ashley, isn't just a task I need to do, its a social occassion and I very much look forward to going into the salon every time.

I’ve been going to Tom Ashley to have my hair cut and coloured for a while now, and my hair has never looked better. I’m so pleased with it - Yasmin is brilliant!
I don’t live locally anymore but I still come back to get my hair done because I don’t want to switch!
Everyone in the salon is so lovely and the decor is amazing too.
I can’t wait to come and get my hair done when lockdown is over!

I never understood why women enjoyed going to the hairdressers until I visited Tom Ashley. Recommended by friends I can't speak highly enough of Tom and his fabulous team. You are made to feel special, conversation is real and the cut, well it is amazing. I was due a cut as lockdown hit but due to Tom's skill my shoulder length hair still looks amazing when I style it! Can't wait to see the team again.

I can't recommend this salon enough. Tom and his team are just fabulous. I have been a client of Tom's for over 15 years and he and Sian are the only people I trust with my hair. The salon is the best place to escape to for a pamper, a chat and I always leave feeling so much better than when I went in.

I am always nervous about visiting a salon for the first time. I decided to try Tom Ashley out because I kept seeing great hair after my friends had been. I wandered in one day feeling brave, and was welcomed… by a lovely lady by the name of Sian. I told her what I wanted and she booked me in for two weeks time and we agreed for her to do my hair.
Well...My experience on the big day was charming. Sian was engaging and professional, she advised me on my hair (I was having highlights) and explained the reasons behind her advice. I was chuffed and confident with what she was saying.

Don’t know why I haven’t reviewed sooner! Going here is always a wonderful experience- I look forward to it every time. I wouldn’t get my hair cut anywhere else now! I’m always so pleased with how beautiful my hair looks afterwards and Tom and his staff are wonderful people. If it were possible to give more stars I would! Highly recommend
