In 2006 Relay was acquired by The Denholm Group and is now an integral part of Denholm Energy Services which has operations in the Caspian, Middle East, UK and USA. Relay continues to provide mechanical, electrical and constructive engineering solutions to the marine, oil and gas sectors. We have branches in the UK and Middle East, and a subsidiary company, Relay Zholdas in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Relay Engineering specialises in the design and installation of complex electrical systems. Our experienced drawing teams manage projects from concept through to engineered solution, working to the scheduling and budget requirements of our customers. With our experienced and flexible workforce, we have the ability to mobilise specialist teams on a scheduled or immediate basis to any location, be it onshore, offshore, or at sea.
We have extensive specialist expertise in the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment fitted to vessels, rigs, platforms or industrial sites. This ranges from complex power generation equipment to the simplest of pumps. Our skilled operators work with our customers to diagnose faults and identify any replacement requirements.
Relay Engineering have modern well equipped workshops for fabrication and welding of structures and parts in steel, aluminium or stainless steel. Our Profile Cutting capabilities allow us to cut highly intricate parts to be produced using the latest technology including: water jet cutting and high definition plasma CNC controlled machines.
Relay Engineering provides metrology and calibration services both in permanent certified laboratories, and with the use of mobile field facilities. Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology to enable the efficient certification of our customers products. We have fully mobile laboratories that can be transported to sites to allow field calibration to be undertaken.
