Way back in 1963 my father, Christopher Spratt, decided to start trading vehicles and in 1967 formed his own company 'C.J.Spratt Motors'. After making a success of his business for a number of years in Bishop's Waltham he expanded the business to include a large garage premises in Wickham near Portsmouth in 1983.
NOTE: We are unable to offer services aside Vehicle Sales and Sourcing at this time. We do, however, still have the 'Passion', 'Enthusiasm' and 'Experience' in the motoring culture that makes us who we are. So if you need any good advice, any technical info on a specific vehicle or just a question answered, please Email or Call us.
This is a growing collection of customers 'genuine' feedback. I recently bought a car from Jim and was really impressed with the experience. Nothing was too much trouble and it felt like I was receiving a really personal service. The car was absolutely as described and everything I had hoped for. Conducting the purchase at distance Jim went out of his way to help me and I never felt I was being rushed or pressured into anything. It’s been a month since we purchased our new car from Jim, and it’s running fine. Buying from Jim was a great experience; much more relaxed than a dealership- but just (if not more) professional and at a fair price comparable to the much more pushy car supermarkets. I’d happily recommend Jim to anyone who’s looking for a great used car!

Had a very bad experience with this dealer. Car was not as described but we overcame that only for it to play up on the way home. I decided enough was enough and to get my money back (next day), he tried to take £100 for himself? cost me £200 to deal with him in transport costs etc. I gave car back with over half a tank (£70) it came with barley nothing yet nothing offered for my troubles. He even told me he was going away in the car at the weekend so knew rightly the fuel I put in would be used. Just very disapointing. One to AVOID sadly.

My husband bought me a beautiful convertible from Jim at Auto Cult, it was extremely well maintiained, red leather seats and you can tell that a lot of effort was put in to make it such a lovely car. It was on our drive when I was home from work as a surprise for our anniversary present. However, as it was a manual car, I wasn't sure if I could really drive in one. So unfortunately I had to ask if we could return it, Jim agreed to take it back when we rang him, no question asked. He came and collected it and said that he can look out for other cars that may suit my taste and ability! Will definitely
