Robert Hopkins Environmental is one of the longest serving Authorised Waste Management Service providers in the UK, with a reputation second to none in providing a swift, effective, and reliable service for collecting and disposing of, hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Our company was established as a family business in 1920 and is still 100% owned and operated by the Hopkins family today.
1920s -Robert Hopkins & Sons founded by Robert Hopkins, making wooden dolly tubs in Old Hill, West Midlands. 1950s-60s - Wooden barrel manufacturing ceases. Founder Robert Hopkins retires and Robert Hopkins Jr with his sons Robert & Norman take over the business. 1970s-80s - The site suffers a devastating fire in 1972 requiring rebuilding of units and replacement machinery.
