One of best course in NJ. Breathtaking scenery and well maintained. Staffs are very friendly. Garry (Starter) was so kind. The view from first tee is speechless and you can see almost entire courses. Not an easy course but challengeable for all levels of players.

Great course but the guy who calls himself a "manager" is a total fuktard. He lacks basic common sense and ability to grasp simple things. He is also very thin skinned and cannot handle constructive criticism. I think if they hired a random guy who cuts grass to do his job, they will be so much better.

Beautiful course, I love playing here. Time mangement and staff is nonexistent here though. Tee time was 1230 and we teed off at 110. Three hours to play 8 holes is not the kind of golf I want to play.

The course has a nice layout with great scenery. I could see it being close to a 5 on a good day. The day I went it was not having a good day. Had an 8 am tee time and got there early to warm up on the range. The range was closed. I was told they needed to mow it and didn't know when they were getting around to do that. The starter was nice enough to get us out a little earlier rather than standing around. Just before driving to the 1st tee we were told it was cart path only. No indication of this until then. Fairways were nice but a little long and some mud holes here and there that could be repaired

Played here for the first time on a Monday afternoon at 4PM. Finally saw a Golf Now hot deal and jumped on it. Here are the positives... Beautiful views, especially from the highest spots (holes 1-5 and clubhouse). Great layout where no 2 holes are alike. Really interesting, thought provoking holes that make you think hard about club selection. The greens; pin placements can dramatically change your score from one day to the next. Nice elevation changes and bunkering.
Now for some negatives... The overall condition was far from great, especially for the price. Now keep in mind we played for about

Played 8-25-21 8:10am. DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE "CART PATH ONLY" THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME PLAYING THERE. The view from the 1st Tee is breathtaking and gives you optimism that this course is what others have boasted (UNLIKE THE GREATLY OVERRATED & RIDICULOUSLY-PRICED "WILD TURKEY"...I think Great Gorge is even better than Wild Turkey!). The first 5 holes they warn you "don't hit the ball to the right" as all slopes off and auto lost ball...And the 1st 5 holes offer a great start. But there are STEEP hills to walk down from the cart path which, especially when wet, could be dangerous. Very imaginative

Nice difficult big course. Provides some good views. Staff can be not around when needed or sometimes pushy. Carts are not the best.

Beautiful course with plenty of challange.
Good part: great views, friendly staff, range available, clean facility
Needs to improve: tee boxes and bunkers.
It's challanging course with tough pin positions and variety of holes to keep you engaged for the whole round. manage first 5 holes as those are most challanging of all. Tee times for weekend get filled up preety fast. I would definitely play this course in all seasons

Overall - decent quality and great views! Tee boxes are chewed up though. Also, lots of rocks in the bunkers. Could do better with tee boxes and bunkers given the greens fees were jacked up this year. Otherwise better than average county course.
For $72 - the tee boxes are terrible. See one of the photos attached
