Contacted Jake from Oxleas Tree Care, received a reasonable quote, his employees arrived the next day, polite and listened to my requirements to see if anything had changed, got on with the job, took away all the branches and put them through a chipper, and swept up after themselves.

I called them up on behalf of a customer who needed a few laurel hedge stumps removed prior to artificial turf being laid. They quoted a sensible price and although short notice managed to attended and remove the offending stumps with a day to spare before the grass fitter was scheduled to attend. Happy customer and so I am equal happy.

I found this company to be extremly unprofessional.
Intially the person coming to quote was late and didnt call to say they were although at the time i over looked this.
Some 4 weeks on and 2 calls back to chase and I havent recieved a quote or a curtosy call following my query on where the quote is.
Very very poor service.

Oxleas removed a tree from our back garden last year. A very efficient and friendly service. They also thinned out the large oak in our neighbours garden and did a very fine job indeed, despite working in atrocious heavy rain! My neighbour was also very pleased with the works Oxleas carried out.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing tree work done.
