Birkhill Garage is an established mechanics garage based in Coalburn, Lanark, South Lanarkshire. We're a friendly family business with more than 22 years of experience. We are available for all types of mechanical work. Whether you want a new clutch fitted in your car or a service on your 44, we will be able to help. We also provide a 24 hour breakdown recovery service, so we can help when you need us the most.
Services
We encourage all our customers to give us feedback on the work we do for them. The good comments help keep us going and the not-so-good comments encourage us to keep improving. An open and honest approach is always what our customers get from us, so we appreciate the same in return from our customers.
For exhaust repairs, we will carry out an examination on the car or vehicle's exhaust system and do our best to make a weld to the broken or split part of the exhaust pipe. If it is not possible to repair the exhaust, we will offer to order a brand new exhaust part from our aftermarket parts suppliers unless you request main dealer exhaust parts.

Thank you so much for saving our holiday. A moments after we left Glasgow, a red light appeared on the dashboard and my car was losing power. I immediately pulled over to the nearest parking . We were lucky because the garage was located 2 miles from the car park where we stopped. After quick repair we were able to continue our journey. Once again a huge thank you! I highly recommend this garage 👌

Ross and the rest of the guys have been excellent every time I’ve been. From fitting me in literally at last minute for tyres/punctures to booking me in fairly quickly for an MOT! All work I’ve had done has been reliable and I in no way feel like I’ve been ripped off, would defo recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First class mechanics, the guys booked me in at short notice this week. Had the car in today to diagnose an annoying knocking and bumping sound it had developed recently. Much to my surprise they managed to not only source the part, but fit it and do an oil/filter change all in the same day. Fantastic service and staff are friendly and professional. Will definitely be back and highly recommend. 5 stars *****
