This stunning project involved conversion and extension of a derelict church building on the shores of Loch Torridon. Designed by Rural Design Architects and built by James MacQueen Building Contractors Ltd, the core of the property is formed from the remains of the former church. A further dwelling with four bedrooms was created and the master bedroom has incredible views through a corner window.

McQueen has built us 2 houses; an R House, and more recently a bespoke house.They are both fabulous to live in and very cosy. The team were skillful and easy to work with, delivering our requirements in a perfect time frame. In our experience you couldn't wish for a better house or have such a trouble-free build. Everything is just what we wanted.
