Been using GT for around 20 yrs or so and needed to get an oven element so went there again. Today I received a total lack of customer service and was quoted almost three times the price than I’ve ended up paying elsewhere. Don’t use GT. John Sizer is cheaper, more friendly, more professional and therefore feels more trustworthy at least to me! Shame though as GT used to be pretty good ☹️

I rang asking if they had bearings for my washer. Alas they didnt but the man who answered gave me some absolutely brilliant advice and pointed me in the right direction for what i needed. In the age of large corperate busnesses. This chap and company are proof that grass roots home grown places should be used and cherished. If the owner is reading this and the man was a employee you have got a bloody good member of staff if the owner is reading this and the man was you thank you so much ive saved your number on my phone and i shall be using you for my electrical spares needs from here on in..

I was really naive when I thought I could trust this company to help me fix the problem with my dishwasher. First, they promised me that they only need to change one part of the machine, I have waited more than two weeks. During this time, they increased the repair fee without telling me, when I tried to discuss this problem with the company staff, they weren’t customer friendly and polite. The repairman destroyed our dishwasher and also the path in my garden when delivering. When I tried to discuss these problems in their shop, they were threatening me that they will call the police. Bought a new washer from this company 20 months ago - cost £295 with a 5 year warranty. We bought it thinking we would support a local company; how wrong could we have been! The washer broke down and the insurance gave us a code to give to the shop and get a full refund or a new washer. However, GT Electrical delivered us our new washer (that's what they told us), but it was a second hand washer (the drawer was full of mould!). I rang GT Electrical and was told "yes" it was a brand new washer . Anyway, they refused to give us a full refund and sent us a new different model washer; which is much
