I specialise in Bridal alterations but I take in all aspects of Ladies alterations including mother of the bride, Bridesmaids, Prom dresses, Evening dresses, Beaded evening dresses, Ladies Tailoring and Daywear outfits for holidays or work. 30 years in the clothing industry has given me the necessary knowledge to alter your special outfit for that perfect fit.
As a general rule it is always advisable to buy a larger size if your size is not available, making a garment bigger is not always possible and the results are not always satisfactory. Again I can advise over the phone. Please allow one working week for your alteration to be completed and two weeks at busier times of year (May - September).

I left school with a love for making my own clothes and knowing that was what I wanted to do for a living. So far I have managed to stay in the clothing industry my entire working career of over 30 yrs. After working in manufacturing, Bridal Boutiques and alteration companies I decided in 2007 to put my experience, knowledge and skill into working for myself.

Mandy was fabulous. She fitted me in super quick and did the alterations needed to my wedding dress and a bridesmaid dress. She made me feel at ease and that everything would be ok. I bought a beautiful wedding dress but it was too long so took it along to be altered. Despite it turning out to be a lot of work because there was a delicate lace pattern right at the bottom, Mandy painstakingly cut off the lace and re-attached it so that it was the perfect length but retained this lovely detail. She also improved the back, giving me a bustle which suited the dress well. At one point I was seriously toying with the idea of adding tiny capped sleeves but Mandy persuaded me to keep it strapless because the dress would look nicer without and she was definitely right. I would go back
