Services
Our physiotherapists based in Milton Keynes and Northampton treat any problem related to muscles, joints, bones, nerves, ligaments and tendons. We treat any problem associated with the spine and also provide post-surgical/fracture rehabilitation. Physiotherapists use mobilisation techniques, manipulation, strengthening, stretching and Pilates exercises to treat injuries.
I first visited Wayne when he was at the Blackberry clinic some eight to ten years ago and the biggest compliment I can pay him is that I am still a patient but course not for the same problem. He has since treated me for a number of issues, back, three shoulder operations, ruptured disc in cervical spine, and now a partial knee replacement.
All our Physiotherapists are registered with the HCPC and the CSP. They follow on-going professional development, and pride themselves in their quality of treatment, and knowledge base. Our patients are treated holistically, bringing them back from injury, but also aiming to help prevent further injury.
Back pain is the most common complaint we see in the outpatient setting followed closely by neck problems. It is said 80% of the population will suffer low back pain at some point in their life. Some patients we see report a history of trauma or an event that has brought on their pain but the majority tend to have no explanation as to how their pain started.
Injury can affect your bones, muscles, joints or the connective tissues that hold them together - the tendons and ligaments. Most of the time the cause of your injury can be established and a recurrence prevented, so it needn't stop your fitness programme for long. But it's vital you don't ignore injuries and simply 'soldier on' as this can make them much worse and leave you with a chronic condition that's far harder to treat.

All four of our family members have been seen by either Annelies or Wayne and have received an excellent service with great results. Extremely professional and knowledgeable, we wouldn't go anywhere else. We have already recommended them to several friends who have received a similar first class experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend again.

I started seeing Annelies with Achilles Tendinitis because I had had it for over a year or more and it was getting worse not better. I had seen a Physiotherapist at the Red Cross Clinic who had given me exercises but it was not improving at all so my husband suggested I went to see Annelies.
One of the first things she discovered was I was over-exercising it and causing it to become inflamed. Over a few weeks she did some acupuncture and gave me some other stretches and I can honestly say it is virtually gone. I would highly recommend both Annelies and Wayne.

I recently used Action Physiotherapy after being diagnosed with a 'frozen shoulder'. I can't thank Wayne enough, and the treatments were worth every penny. After a thorough consultation a recovery plan was recommended, the pain was reduced and the mobility gradually returned to normal after a series of treatments and gentle exercises. I would thoroughly recommend Action Physiotherapy's services to anyone looking for a highly skilled Physio.
