Smithery
There's something magical about buying handmade goods, rather than a factory made object, it also helps our environment, supports our artistic community and improves our local economy. As a designer I wanted to support other makers and give them a platform to showcase their work, telling the story behind what they do.

Our makers produce diverse work, demonstrating a commitment to quality and originality, which last and get better with each use. These unique collections sit alongside carefully sourced home wares and European brands, with the aim to provide gifts that are as much of a pleasure to give as they are to receive.
Services
New to Smithery are our customisable gift sets/ starter kits. You can either choose one of our pre made sets or choose a combination that suits you or the recipient of the gift. Add as little or as much as you need from our range of handmade, sustainable or fair trade products.

Each box uses paper fill that is reusable, recyclable, and biodegradable and jute string with matching hand cut tags, and the boxes flat pack for storage so they can be reused again and again.
Rachel and Shazia are two friends sharing the same passion for Jewellery and precious stones, currently based in the heart of England, Warwickshire. The origin of the brand name stems from the owners' grandmothers, both of whom born in 1901. We are passionate about British made craftsmanship, with the desire to make you feel special wearing our unique designs that encapsulate our visions.
Belynda has a BA in Silversmith, Jewellery and Allied Crafts. She has not only worked behind the bench but also other aspects of the jewellery trade. This includes a Designer, a Product Manger, a Diamond Buyer, and also running a very well known jeweller's on the high street. She can work in any metal for your perfect wedding band including platinum, gold and also the great new metal palladium.
After working as an international buyer for an accessories company for 15 years Gail Drury felt the time was right to branch out on her own and create something she was passionate about and somewhere she could channel her creative flair. All Brown & Drury candles and diffusers are made with love and care from her studio at home and without the use of additives or animal products.
It all started with a passion for handmade, non-toxic organic products, organic agriculture, a love for nature, a sustainable & plastic free life style and being creative. I have a passion for creative hand made products and have a real love of nature. Three years ago, I made the decision to put my beliefs into action.

Lovely items . Interesting items too with a eco/ ethical story . Sometimes you can park right outside but to walk is good too as right in town . Easy exchange if items not right ie gifts.

Great little artisan shop in Warwick.
This place is quite the find. They have all sorts and many items from local artists and crafts people. So much so we ended up spending quite a bit in here even though we had not planned too.
They also do a nice range of refillable cleaning products and soaps which would make great gifts, plastic free too.
Warwick is lovely but people tend to miss Smith Street so make sure you seek out the Street and this great little shops.

Brilliant shibori party held at the Smithery last week. We created some brilliant piece of fabric dyed in an indigo vat. Lara showed us the magic of shibori, it was a wonderful.evening, she is a lovely teacher, I highly recommend this workshop.

I bought some lovely gifts from The Smithery just before Christmas. A real treasure trove of beautiful things, unique and a little different. Excellent customer service, helpful and not salesy and the items I bought were well wrapped too. I will most definitely be visiting again!

The Smithery was one of the first shops I cam across when I first moved to Warwick and has remained a truly great find. It has become our 'go-to' shop to find presents and quirky, one-of-kind things that are not mass produced. Lara has a great eye for quality and knowing what's on trend! I would highly recommend a look!
