My maternity photography sessions are a relaxed session in my cosy studio in Redbourn; between approximately 32-36 weeks.
For newborns, I like to capture baby within the first 14 days after they are born. At this stage I can pose your baby in those sleepy curled womb-like poses! In some cultures it is tradition to celebrate when baby is 100 days old. These photography sessions are very popular for their simplicity and importance to capture baby at this milestone.

I started Annie Griggs Photography in 2016 when my focus was primarily location and lifestyle photography. The business grew and developed over time by word of mouth and I started to gain recognition from professional photography associations. I trained with some of the leading experts in the industry and I continually strive to be the best I can within my field.

Ronia was made to feel very special during her professional head shot session and Annie had great ideas and suggestions to prepare (bring the right clothes) and for positioning and outfits on the day. Amber heard from Ronia how much fun it was, and the less confident of the two sisters demanded her own session which Annie kindly fitted in.
I am always grateful when I have been given the honour to capture this extremely precious time full of love, anticipation and such genuine emotions during pregnancy. I like to create a relaxed maternity session where you feel safe and secure so that you can enjoy your experience and embrace the beauty of pregnancy and this magical moment in your life.
Sometimes it is not possible to have your newborn photographed however there are many more milestone to capture. Here are a few of the key ones, my favourite is when they are just starting to sit independently and really starting to show their little characters. Absolutely loved my beginners photography course with Annie. I’ve had a SLR camera for 5/6 years and have barely taken it out of the cupboard because I didn’t know how to use it properly. I wanted a course which would help me understand the basics of photography, understand my camera, and get to know some editing skills. Annie’s one on one course ticked all these boxes and more. She’s full of energy, passionate and a complete expert and I’m so grateful to now be a bit more equipped in using my camera and taking nice pics of family and friends! Thanks so much

I choose Annie because I really liked her style and eye when it comes to B&W portrait photography and fair to say, she did not disappoint! She was very quick to respond to my emails and all the way to the appointment. On the day she made me feel very comfortable and at ease, she is so friendly so it was very easy anyway! She managed to capture exactly what I had in mind and the photos looked great, which she send very swiftly. I will be definitely going back and recommending to other people. Annie has been teaching my daughter the basics of photography over the summer and it has been so worthwhile! My daughter has come away with a set of life long skills she will use in years to come.
