Services
At G H Smith & Son Ltd of Easingwold, York, we understand that it is not always easy to plan ahead and be prepared for every eventuality. In the world of business, many things can take us by surprise and require us to take action at the last minute. Because of this, we aim to provide a commercial print service that is efficient and meets your print needs according to the circumstances.
It was started by Leonard Smith and his brother George Hudson Smith and was originally called L & G H Smith, Printers. They had bought associated print machinery from John and Joseph Smith, also of Easingwold. George managed to combine this interest with his other responsibilities as postmaster, ropemaker, and the innkeeper of the Fleece Inn on Long Street, Easingwold.
At G H Smith & Son we care about the environment and our environmental policy shows that printing doesn't have to be at the expense of the world around us. The inks used in our printing process are all water-soluble and non-toxic. They are all vegetable-based, soya inks. We minimize the creation of waste and wherever possible find a use for our waste.
