It is fair to say that, along with the Head Chef and the team, we are a little bit obsessed with food. Obsessed with sourcing the best possible ingredients and working with the best local and national suppliers. Obsessed with finding the best team to prepare and serve it, in the knowledge that every plate that leaves our kitchen is just.

We also have a dog friendly en-suite room for anyone traveling with their four-legged companion, please contact us for more information. A pet booking fee of 20 per dog will be applied to your room rate.
We host a number of events throughout the year, including live music, foodie events and seasonal parties. Visit our social media pages for the latest news and updates. There is nothing better than having a good browse around the place you are about to visit, so we had our 3D virtual tours created so that you can do just that.

We stayed the night here but only had breakfast so can only review on these parts so far.
The room are very well presented with a bit of a bungalow feel about them as there are just a few units at the end of their driveway and they are only one floor. There is a bit of road noise which can't be avoided as it's next to a busy Rd.
Staff were friendly. Went down for breakfast in the morning and fry up was of very good quality. We both really enjoyed it. Only gripe I would say is the tvs in the rooms are tiny. They need upgrading. Other than that pretty spot on all round. Great job guys.

Beautiful venue for wedding reception.
We recently held our wedding reception at the Narrowboat for 30 guests and we cannot praise the staff enough, the whole day was absolutely perfect.
Julie the head chef and her team produced mouth watering food which was fresh, locally sourced and beautifully presented from a menu we had chosen ourselves, nothing was too much trouble to make our day special.
The waiting and bar staff were attentive without being intrusive and were impeccably dressed for the occasion.
The Narrowboat also has canal side rooms which some of our guests stayed in overnight

We came here on a family visit on a dark rainy night. Longing for shelter, we came to this establishment on the hopes of nice food to fill our empty bellies. We played a whole game of cheat with cards whilst waiting for our food to arrive. It took quite a while. The waiter was very good though, very polite and very nice. Food was alright over priced I reckon. Maybe more selection on the menu. I liked the rissotto. Probably won't come again, but to end off a lovely evening we went to mcdonalds for dessert. There was also a cute doggy there that I petted, life really is great.

Such a gorgeous setting by the canal- very special.
A boiling hot evening & my beer ordered was not a cold one! This is mainly a burger & chips menu. The pork burger itself was very good but as a whole no juice, garnish, dressing - very dry. I would have loved fresh tomato/lettuce, relish (very, very minimal). The young staff were friendly, effecient & helpful. This pub has so much potential.

This pub is very well presented in a beautiful location with wonderful views and lovely adjacent walks. The grounds are ample and have facilities for kids to play also which is always a benefit for family dinning.
The staff are friendly, chatty and polite but, this pubs food is absolutely terrible and completely lets the place down. We had chicken and beef burgers at £14/£15 each. The burgers were cheap, hard on the outside from overcooking and in a dry old stodgy burger bun, tiny amount of over grilled cheese and some poorly cut salad slapped on top. The fries were cold and the whole meal lacked
