The practice strives to liaise closely with region-wide coaches, medical, health and fitness providers to ensure a whole systems approach to injury management, rehabilitation or sports performance enhancement is provided to clients, as appropriate for their care. From our base in Melrose, in the central Scottish Borders we are ideally located to treat clients from the Borders region as well as those slightly further afield.
Services
A general physiotherapy service for injury and rehabilitation management of the neuromusculoskeletal system, such as back or neck pain, shoulder, lower limb pain or pre-post surgery. Sports performance enhancement or simply to improve movement efficiency for optimal enjoyment of your activity. Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability.
Regardless of level of ability, Future Physio's philosophy is to treat all individuals as athletes, including the non-sporting client. With a strong focus on the future, we aim to facilitate individuals to move forward towards achieving their optimal functional recovery or performance goals.

Future Physio aims to provide its clinic services based on a combination of sound scientific evidence with an excellent application of practical skills and understanding of your needs.We have a small, but suitably equipped rehabilitation area enabling an effective provision for our specialist clinics or specific rehabilitation methods.
Is a training and rehabilitation methodology designed to refine and develop neuromuscular efficiency and movement patterns through stimulation of the central and peripheral nervous systems. DMS is a fun and challenging system to improve gross motor skills, balance, rhythm, coordination, speed and agility.
Whilst the saddle and handlebars are important, at our bike fit clinic we recognise that the foot-pedal interface also drives lower limb biomechanics. Therefore, when the foot mechanics are off, the influence up the *kinetic chain will mean other parts of the fit will be influenced. Complaints of pain or discomfort throughout the body while cycling can often be related to something at the foot.
TPI seeks to educate golf industry professionals and the playing public on the importance of the body and how it relates to the golf swing. In addition, TPI does not believe in one way to swing a club, rather in an infinite number of swing styles. However, they do believe there is one efficient way for every player to swing and it is based on what the player can physically do.
